Welcome to Issue #001 of Build Young.
If you're new here — I'm Ansh. 19 years old. Running two companies (Kravic & Webcom Media) out of Bhopal. Every week I share one real founder update, one system I'm running on, and one thing that didn't work. No highlights reel.
Let's get into it.
🏗️ THIS WEEK'S FOUNDER UPDATE
This week I launched Build Young — this newsletter. Zero subscribers on Monday. A live brand by Wednesday.
Here's what that actually looked like: Set up Beehiiv. Built the website. Wrote the welcome email. Designed the logo. Posted my first piece of content publicly.
Most people spend 3 weeks "planning" their newsletter. I gave myself one day. Done is better than perfect — and now I have a real asset that compounds every week.
Current subscriber count: just getting started. Watch this number.
⚙️ THIS WEEK'S SYSTEM
How I use AI as a thinking partner — not a shortcut.
Everyone asks me which AI tool they should use.
Wrong question.
I run two companies at 19. I haven't made progress because of any single tool. I've made progress because I learned how to direct AI effectively.
Here's the difference:
Most people use AI like a search engine. Ask → Copy → Paste → Done.
I use it like a co-founder. I give it full context. I push back on its outputs. I ask it to challenge my thinking. I use it to stress-test decisions before I make them.
The skill isn't "knowing ChatGPT." The skill is thinking clearly enough to direct it.
AI doesn't replace sharp thinking. It amplifies it.
Which means if your thinking is fuzzy, AI will just help you move in the wrong direction — faster.
The one shift that changed everything for me: Stop asking AI "what should I do?" Start asking AI "here's what I'm thinking — what am I missing?"
That question alone will change how you build.
❌ ONE THING THAT DIDN'T WORK
I tried to set everything up perfectly before launching.
Spent time overthinking the logo. The colors. The template. The "right" way to do it.
What actually worked: making decisions fast, shipping it, and fixing things live. The newsletter you're reading went from idea to live in a single day because I stopped waiting for perfect.
The lesson: perfection is just procrastination with better branding.
That's Issue #001.
Reply and tell me — how are you currently using AI in your work or business? I read every single reply and I'll feature the most interesting answer in Issue #002.
Building with you,
